Pearls With Purpose is a 501c3 (EIN: 83-0412227) which began in the Philippines in 2002 by Wendy Bird, a stay at home mom of five. The initiatives were 1) Micro-Enterprise Training, 2) Educational scholarships for youth and 3) Medical/Dental assistance. Our primary focus being long-term self reliance through artisan product design and movement. Since then over 12 co-ops have been established in 7 developing countries. The artisans greatest desire is to feed and educate their families. No mother should have to choose between feeding her child and begging in the streets.
